Are you a Planet Pioneer or are you just part of the problem?  We all want to think of ourselves as conscientious beings especially when it comes to being environmentally responsible. But there are some people that I bump into on my travels that I can see are true pioneers when it comes to making changes.  Meet these young entrepreneurs out to search for sustainable products and who put the future of our planet before profit.  I have come across a few that work the other way around and with my Daadi project, I am treading carefully to find the right people to work with. I first came across co-founder, Rachit Goyal whilst he was volunteering his time to help teach children living in the slums

Together with three friends, these guys have created Enable Nature which is an eco-friendly start-up that promotes natural, handmade and sustainable products. We sit around a table as they tell me that more than 99% of plastics are produced from chemicals all of which are toxic and non-renewable resources. While plastic is completely hazardous for human lives and the planet, we have become addicted to its use.

In order to bring an environmental revolution, Enable Nature is made up of four young co-founders. Their backgrounds are inspiring, Rachit Goyal, gained 1.3 years of professional experience by working with MNC Cavinkare as Territory Sales Manager. He holds a graduate degree in management from Jaipur City of India. Raveena Jain completed M.Sc. in Chemistry from Jaipur. She believes in co-creating a better life for others and evidently became a part of Enable Nature family. Sonali Kabra is a management graduate from Jaipur city of India. She started her professional journey as a Human Resource Generalist with MNC Genpact. Deepesh Garg, a young enthusiast holds an electrical engineering degree from the same city of Jaipur. He chose to be responsible over being unthoughtful and is one of the co-founders of Enable Nature.  Nature is eternal, provided we as human’s support and cherish it. Sharing this same mind-set, these four young minds started this purposeful journey. A challenging yet enterprising journey of making the world believe in adopting a sustainable lifestyle.

Enable Nature envisions to bring a global transformation by prioritizing nature and nature’s benefits in order to limit alarming Environmental threats. It aims to make efforts in order to promote social justice and make the earth a liveable place. Thereby, commercial solutions in the form of eco-friendly and sustainable products are developed by the start-up to solve social and environmental problems.

In this crazy competitive world, starting any business can be difficult and frustrating. Sourcing products is time- consuming and a lot of research is involved. In my own experience, sticking to your values when everyone seems to be talking about cost-cutting will make you want to scream. Often cutting down the price effects quality, even cutting the experts out of the sales chain. I have seen this happen so many times and this is why the quality and sustainability of products are affected, filling the market place with cheap trash and even more trash.

Rachit and his friends show me their copper water bottles they have sourced. These are good quality and drinking water from them is so good for your health.  Copper is a trace mineral vital to human health. Our ancestors somehow knew this and it is referenced in ancient texts of Ayurveda. Storing our drinking water in these bottles will create a natural purification process killing microorganisms and bacteria including moulds, fungi and algae that can be harmful to the body. Storing your water in these bottles preferably overnight for at least four hours will allow the water to acquire a certain quality from the copper.

Make sure you buy good quality bottles as there will be cheaper imitations out there but they will not be so good for your health.  I am told the copper on the cheaper bottles will tarnish quickly and go black inside. You have to always clean them with water and lemon juice.

Enable Nature are also sourcing bamboo products, including this lovely bamboo water bottle. They give me two pairs of soft fluffy socks as a gift.  ‘I will put these on our Daadi website for sure’ I tell him.  I have a lot of friends who love walking, especially in hot weather. Feet matter, I laugh.

They have a long journey ahead of them to create a good business but hopefully sticking to their values they will be able to create the market they need. One that is based on value and able to bypass the cheap imitations. We will definitely support them in their venture sharing their sourced projects. You will be able to purchase them directly through our Daadi website which will be coming very soon.

Hiya, I am Lauren, a lifestyle traveller, writer and health Nerd. Due to lockdown I decided to get on with writing my blog and catching up with friends new and old. I believe we are one world that for most of us wants to promote peace and goodwill to each other, wherever you are in the world I wish you well. I hope we connect and share our stories.
