The Jalon Valley is not far from the coast and has lovely beaches. The nearest coastal towns are Benissa, Calpe, Moraira, Javea, Denia, Altea, Benidorm. Cities are Alicante and Valencia. Madrid is three hours by rail.
Jalon has two weekly markets, cafe bars, and restaurants, the population is about 5.000.
If you love walking, cycling, or rock climbing, this is a perfect place for you. Jalon also attracts health professionals, artists, and writers.
In February the valley is covered in almond blossoms attracting many walkers and artists.
