Home is where the heart is.

And we have a new look to my blog, thanks to my good friend Summit who has been slogging away in Jaipur with the new design. I hope you all like it. Please give him a LIKE, if you do. It will make his day.

Excited to be back in my home after six months of being away although I must admit I have not been far, due to the dreaded restrictions. But now I am back in my home there is much to do.

I said goodbye to the lovely Colin and Anouk from Casa Chillax in Campello which is near Alicante in Spain. They saw me through an attack of Covid, and a fractured ankle and I cannot thank them enough for their support. I miss them already.

My stay there was incredibly refreshing and allowed me to explore some new creativity. I swapped my pen for a paintbrush and re-kindled some artistic creativity, completing 21 pictures and painting a wall in their chicken pen just for fun.

La Gaia, my home welcomed me back into familiarity. It is good to see my stuff again and check out what has been happening in my garden. I plan to clear the junk from my garage and turn it into a studio. Some of my art will be available to buy and each piece will have a story behind it.

I will be back to posting every few days again. Not being able to go to far away places will focus me on La Gaia. This place has a great energy. My doors are always open to welcome you. If you need a break, some inspiration, a place to unwind, to work, to create, to practise yoga/meditation, Please contact me, I would love to welcome you here.

Hiya, I am Lauren, a lifestyle traveller, writer and health Nerd. Due to lockdown I decided to get on with writing my blog and catching up with friends new and old. I believe we are one world that for most of us wants to promote peace and goodwill to each other, wherever you are in the world I wish you well. I hope we connect and share our stories.
